What You'll Do:

Deliver sign language interpreting services to a DHH student during the school day Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and the student to facilitate classroom communication Interpret classroom instruction, peer interactions, and small group activities Support the student in both academic and social settings, ensuring full participation Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in all situations

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM; approximately 30 hours per week on-site

Your Background:

Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English Experience interpreting in educational settings preferred Comfortable working with young children, ideally in early childhood or Head Start environments Hold current relevant certification or credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills Ability to adapt to changing needs throughout the school day Enjoy the
