Key Qualifications:

Proficiency in American Sign Language is essential, with an ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher required. Prior experience as a 1:1 interpreter in a school or educational setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset for working closely with students, teachers, and staff. Flexibility, reliability, and professionalism in a dynamic academic environment. Possession of relevant certifications and clearances as required by state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Provide consistent, high-quality 1:1 sign language interpreting services for a designated student during the school day.
