Job Description

Key Qualifications:
Valid 4.0 EIPA or NIC certification (must be willing to obtain Kentucky licensure) Previous experience interpreting in K-12 school settings preferred Familiarity with classroom routines and educational terminology Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering a welcoming, supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide accurate sign language interpretation for students, staff, and families in various classroom and school settings Collaborate closely with educators to support student learning goals Adapt interpretation style to meet individual student language needs Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of the profession Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed
