Key Qualifications:

Valid ASLPI (American Sign Language Proficiency Interview) score of 4.1 or above Experience providing 1:1 sign language interpretation in schools or similar settings Strong grasp of Deaf culture and educational interpreting best practices Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and staff Reliable attendance and professional demeanor Open to qualified travel candidates

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 ASL interpretation services for a student, enabling full classroom participation Translate spoken classroom communication and materials into American Sign Language Assist in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Collaborate with educators to address student needs and clarify content Document services provided and communicate progress as necessary
