Qualifications:
Valid certification or credential for educational Sign Language Interpretation Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with interpreting in school settings Previous experience working in educational environments preferred Flexibility, reliability, and a professional demeanor Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Accurately interpret spoken language into ASL (and vice versa) for students, faculty, and families Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to facilitate communication and learning Support students in academic and extracurricular activities as assigned Maintain confidentiality and comply with school policies and procedures Participate in team meetings and professional development
