EC Interpreter Job Description
EC interpreter's responsibilities include the following:
Be fluent in English and Spanish Translate written communication from EC staff to parents
Provide live oral interpretation during various types of IEP meetings
Interpret messages sent by parents to the EC staff within the school setting
Assist EC staff with phone contacts to schedule IEP meetings
Maintain strict privacy regarding student records, family information, and disability diagnoses
Educational Requirement:
High school diploma
Other Requirement:
Hold NC Drivers License
