What Were Looking For:

Minimum of 3.5 EIPA certification required Previous experience in school settings highly preferred Demonstrated skill in American Sign Language Ability to establish rapport and communicate clearly with students, educators, and staff Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive educational experience Flexibility in working with a range of grade levels, from preschool to high school

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one sign language interpretation during classes and activities Adapt interpreting style and strategies to meet student needs and age level Support communication between students, teachers, and peers Contribute to a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere Collaborate with educational teams to encourage student achievement and independence
