Make a meaningful difference by providing communication access to students who are Deaf or hard of hearing in an elementary school setting. This full-time opportunity allows you to work closely with young learners and educational staff, supporting one student at a time for more personalized, impactful engagement. This contract role runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027. You'll have a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working from 7:00am to 2:30pm, totaling 35 hours each week. As an onsite-only position, your daily presence ensures reliable, in-person support for your assigned student.

Qualifications:

Active licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required; candidates with RID certification also considered, regardless of EIPA status Prior experience interpreting in educational settings strongly preferred Strong commitment to punctuality, with ability to arrive before student arrival each day Flexibility, patience, and a collaborative approach to supporting elementary-aged children
