Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (EIPA, RID, or state equivalent) Previous experience interpreting in school settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to new environments and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide interpretation for students, staff, and parents in classroom and school-related settings Work closely with educators to ensure access to educational content Support and advocate for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students inclusion Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality Participate in school meetings, trainings, and IEP discussions as needed
