This is a full-time, on-site role ideally suited for travel candidates eager to make a positive impact within school communities.

Key Qualifications:

Minimum ASLPI (American Sign Language Proficiency Interview) score of 4.1 or above required Demonstrated experience providing sign language interpretation in educational environments, especially 1:1 support National Interpreter Certification (NIC) or equivalent credentials preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with students, educators, and staff Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to diverse learning needs Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality ASL interpretation for assigned students, ensuring full access to classroom activities and curriculum Work closely with teachers, case managers, and support staff to facilitate inclusive learning Assist in creating a supportive, accessible environment tailored to individual student needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation as required Remain current with best practices and continue professional development
