Key Qualifications:

Role Responsibilities:

Interpret spoken language into sign language (and vice versa) for students, teachers, and peers in classroom and school activities Facilitate communication during school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities Adapt interpreting style to the needs of individual students, including those with varying sign language proficiency Support teachers and staff in understanding the needs of deaf or hard-of-hearing students Maintain ethical standards as outlined by nationally recognized interpreter organizations
