Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits skilled Sign Language Interpreters looking to make a meaningful impact. For the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, we are seeking four experienced professionals to support K-12 students onsite. This full-time role covers schools in the Rosenburg and Douglas areas and runs from August 24th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027. In this essential role, you will collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to facilitate accessible communication and ensure an inclusive environment for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Your expertise will be key in fostering student understanding and active participation across various classroom settings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid Oregon Sign Language Interpreter Certification/Licensure Experience working in educational settings, preferably K-12 Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Ability to adapt interpreting style to fit diverse student needs and learning environments Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills Commitment to onsite only assignment throughout the contracted school year
Primary Responsibilities:
