$20.00 per hour Upstage Productions is looking for dependable, hardworking Stage Hands to join our live event production crew. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, doesn't mind getting their hands dirty, and can keep up in a fast-paced event environment. Previous production experience is helpful, but not required . We're looking for people who are reliable, willing to learn, and ready to work. What You'll Do Assist with event load-ins, setup, and load-outs Set up and break down staging, backdrops, platforms, lighting, audio/video equipment, and other production elements Move, organize, and safely handle production equipment, props, and set pieces Run cables and assist lighting, audio, and other production technicians as needed Use basic hand and power tools while following company safety procedures Help maintain and inspect production equipment Keep backstage, warehouse, and work areas clean and organized Follow instructions from production managers, technicians, and other crew leads Help ensure events are set up safely, efficiently, and on schedule What We're Looking For Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled calls Comfortable performing physically demanding work Able to lift and move production equipment Strong communication and teamwork skills Able to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure Willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular hours depending on event schedules Experience with staging, lighting, audio, AV, rigging, theater, or live events is a plus, but not required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Training or coursework in theater, performing arts, technical production, or a related field is a plus. Why Upstage?
