IES is looking for new team members to join us as we build, design, and light the nation. We install LED lighting for major brands coast to coast. Lighting Retrofit Technician. Travel job nationwide, based in Pensacola, FL. Great earning and field advancement potential. What we pay $1,500 to $2,200 per week. Full time, paid weekly. Crews travel 8 to 10 weeks continuously, then come home. Travel to and from home is paid. What you would do Assemble, install, retrofit, test, troubleshoot, and maintain interior and exterior LED lighting systems and lighting controls. Perform basic electrical work, including installation of junction boxes and cabling systems. Perform physically demanding tasks for 8 to 10 hours per day. Work primarily on ladders or lift equipment. Follow all industry quality and safety standards. Must provide your own tools. What you need 1 to 2 years of lighting technician or electrical experience required. Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools. Must be able to operate a scissor lift or boom lift. Company drivers need a valid driver's license. Non drivers need a state issued ID. Must be willing to travel 8 to 10 weeks continuously (lodging provided). Must be able to pass background screening. Good communication skills, integrity and professionalism. Able to follow directions and work effectively and efficiently with other members of the team. Benefits Hotel/lodging provided while on the road. Weekly per diem provided.
