full-time Lighting Specification Sales Representative Cedar Rapids, Iowa C&O Sales is seeking a relationship-driven Lighting Specification Sales Representative to support the Cedar Rapids market. This role works directly with electrical engineers, architects, lighting designers, and interior designers to develop specifications and help turn opportunities into successful projects. What You'll Do Build and maintain relationships with local design professionals Identify upcoming projects and specification opportunities Present lighting and controls products through sales calls, events, and lunch-and-learns Assist with fixture schedules, product selections, and competitive bid packages Coordinate with manufacturers, quotation teams, salespeople, and project managers Track projects from early design through bidding and order conversion Stay current on lighting technology, controls, and new product developments Represent C&O Sales at industry meetings and networking events What We're Looking For Strong relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills Self-motivated and organized, with consistent follow-up Ability to understand and communicate technical product information Comfortable working independently and collaborating across teams Experience in lighting, electrical, architecture, engineering, design, or specification sales is preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF review software Experience with OASIS, Parspec, Bluebeam, or similar industry tools is a plus This is an in-market, customer-facing position based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
