Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Exterior Holiday Lighting Technician and become a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces with expertly installed, maintained, and repaired lighting systems. In this energetic role, you will utilize your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to ensure our clients' exterior lighting is safe, functional, and visually stunning. Your hands-on expertise will help bring nighttime landscapes to life, creating inviting atmospheres while adhering to safety standards and technical specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, solve complex lighting challenges, and deliver exceptional service that brightens our clients' environments. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair exterior landscape lighting systems using hand tools and electrical testing equipment. Install, troubleshoot and repair exterior permanent holiday lighting systems Instal and Remove seasonal holiday lights Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues. Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to test electrical circuits and verify system integrity. Perform service calls at client sites, providing professional solutions for equipment repair and system upgrades. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, repair logs, and schematic updates. Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all installation and maintenance activities. Requirements Proven experience in field service roles with a focus on electrical or lighting systems. Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity in using hand tools for installation and repairs. Service technician experience in electrical or low voltage systems is highly preferred. Knowledge of computer hardware, networking basics, and ability to read schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Ability to interpret technical diagrams and perform equipment repairs efficiently. Mechanical knowledge related to lighting fixtures, electrical wiring, and system components. Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems, ohmmeters, and basic circuit testing procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately.
