We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Lighting Onsite Auditor to travel to commercial facilities and conduct detailed internal and external lighting installation audits. We're looking for a Commerical Lighting Onsite Auditor to document custom lighting installations across the U.S. to assist in the development of custom lighting solutions. This role is critical in ensuring we fully understand the current configuration of the installed lighting to facilitate a custom lighting solution, which drives a reduction in energy usage and reduces ongoing maintenance costs.

SspSFioUmp Key Responsibilities:
Review and document current lighting configuration and installation Define the key attributes of each install product Conduct comprehensive lighting audits covering commercial, industrial, hospitality, and specialty projects nationwide Quantify lighting performance metrics—such as lumen output and illumination levels—supporting adherence of proposed designs to IES standards Work in coordination with lighting design group to transfer information Evaluate legacy lighting systems, including fluorescent and HID technologies, assessing performance, lifespan, and integration challenges
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in lighting, manufacturing, engineering, or a related field Working knowledge of Commercial lighting systems, components, and electrical standards Experience in electrical contracting, lighting retrofits, field inspections, or commercial buildouts Experience reading technical drawings, CAD plans, and lighting spec sheets Familiarity with UL standards, photometrics, and lighting controls a plus Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems (QMS)
Needs some level engineering capabilities
Current/previous history in sales
Must be willing to travel up to 75%
