USU Eastern is seeking a part-time A/V Tech to support audio and lighting needs during events. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals with basic experience or interest in theater tech, live sound, or lighting systems. Evening and weekend hours may be required and are based on event schedules. Responsibilities Assist with running lights or sound boards during rehearsals, performances, or special events

Assist customers with Audio Visual needs

Follow directions from the Geary Supervisor and work collaboratively with other event staff

Perform basic equipment checks

Help maintain and organize equipment Qualifications Some experience with theater tech (e.g., high school productions, community theater, A/V club, etc.) is preferred

Able to learn new equipment and follow technical direction

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Required Documents

This position involves working in a theater and event setting, often in low-light or loud environments. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and staying focused during live productions. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position, including lifting up to 25 pounds, walking and standing.
