Job Description
Join Lamar Advertising Company as a Logos Field Technician supporting our outdoor advertising network. In this hands-on role, you'll install, maintain, and repair illuminated and digital logos and lighting on billboards and structures. You'll troubleshoot electrical and hardware issues, perform inspections, and operate lifts and tools while following strict safety standards. Working in the field, you'll partner with local operations and sales teams to ensure our customers' campaigns stay visible, reliable, and compliant, helping Lamar deliver high-impact media across the community. Responsibilities Install, service, and maintain illuminated and digital billboard logos and lighting systems across assigned territory Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and basic electrical repairs to ensure logos meet safety and quality standards Conduct regular inspections of structures, wiring, and hardware; document findings and complete work orders accurately Operate trucks, lifts, and hand/power tools safely, following company and OSHA safety procedures Coordinate with sales and operations teams to schedule work, minimize advertiser downtime, and support campaign launches Maintain inventory of parts and materials; report usage, defects, and needed replacements promptly Respond to urgent service calls, weather-related damage, and outages in a timely, professional manner Communicate clearly with local management and team members, providing status updates and photos as needed Complete required training, certifications, and safety meetings; follow company policies and field protocols Represent Lamar professionally in the field, respecting property owners, local communities, and advertisers Required Skills Electrical troubleshooting Outdoor sign installation Bucket truck or lift operation Basic wiring and circuitry Use of hand and power tools Reading technical diagrams Digital display maintenance Preventive maintenance Work order documentation OSHA/safety compliance
