SC State University is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Systems Manager to lead the planning, implementation, management, and support of the University's enterprise audio-visual systems. This position will serve as the University's primary technical authority for classroom technology, conference rooms, event venues, and collaboration spaces across campus. The Audio-Visual Systems Manager will oversee enterprise collaboration technologies, manage campus-wide AV initiatives, partner with faculty, staff, vendors, and contractors, and ensure students, employees, and guests experience reliable, innovative, and seamless technology in support of academic instruction, administrative operations, and university events. Position:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Educational Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience managing, implementing, and supporting professional enterprise audio-visual systems in a higher education, corporate, government, or similarly complex environment. Preferred Requirements for Entry into
Position:
Experience supporting classroom technology, lecture capture systems, hybrid learning environments, and learning management system integrations. Experience with IT service management (ITSM) platforms and technology support ticketing systems. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency with Dante audio networking, including routing and system management. Dante Level 1-3 certification or equivalent experience is highly desirable, as the university is adopting Dante as its primary AV transport platform.
