We are looking for high spirited, outgoing, and professional individuals to capture high-quality photos, and ensure an enjoyable picture day experience for students and staff members alike! Studio 5 School Portraits is a family owned, Colorado business geared towards creating exceptional photos that will last a lifetime. In this position you will have the opportunity to learn to use high-quality photo equipment to capture lasting memories for children of all ages, and have the chance to work individually, as well as part of a team. Each work day will bring a fresh, new experience as you will work in a school environment or capture sports photos while working with a wide variety of students. At Studio 5 School Portraits, photography experience is not required but is recommended. PHOTOGRAPHER DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities and skills:
Confident, positive, professional and kid-friendly
Customer-Service oriented
Self-sufficient
Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as work as part of a team
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with teammates as well as with school staff and faculty members
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of all school, student, and company related information
Ability to quickly and effectively solve problems while maintaining a positive work flow
As a member of the Studio 5 Team, you must be willing to work a varied seasonal schedule, which will include early mornings and long days as necessary.
As a photographer, you will be expected to execute the following tasks each day:
Must be comfortable operating computers
Travel safely to and from your scheduled school and arrive on time, in a presentable manner and following dress code.
Be responsible for maintaining, transporting, and safeguarding equipment between schools
Organizing materials and assembling equipment to prepare for photo day
Able to lift and operate photo equipment up to 50 lbs.
Keep a positive work flow in a fast-paced work environment
Other requirements for being a part of the Studio 5 team include:
Willingness to work a varied seasonal schedule that includes early mornings and long days as necessary.
Ability to represent the Studio 5 Team professionally at all times, and abide by all school and company policies
Valid driver's license
Willingness to travel 100-200 miles to and from school locations, some maybe overnight trips as necessary with a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
Must be willing to under go a background check As a part of the Studio 5 Team, you'll have the opportunity to work with exceptional team members in a fresh new environment each day.
We will provide you with on the job training to ensure you are prepared for being a School Photographer and are able to provide an enjoyable photo day experience to everyone. You will also be presented with potential opportunities for advancement as a part of our spring photographer team, as well as the potential to become a full-time photographer.
