Optometric Technician Complete Eye Care of Medina - Medina, MN About the Role We are seeking a motivated, patient-focused Optometric Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time, in-person role (38-40 hours per week) where you will work directly with patients, assist our doctors with clinical testing, and support our clinic's daily flow. • Greet and prepare patients for exams
• Perform clinical workups, including but not limited to: auto-refraction, lensometry, tonometry, visual fields, muscle testing, pupil exams, Meibomian gland imaging, fundus photos, scans and Neurolens.
• Assist with specialty care: Myopia management, Dry Eye Services and Vision Therapy
• Accurately document patient history and test results in charts
• Communicate clearly with patients about procedures, follow-ups, and care instructions Clinic Support
• Manage and organize contact lens and specialty lens inventory
• Maintain stock in exam and pre-test rooms
• Care for and calibrate diagnostic equipment (opening and closing duties)
• Return patient and pharmacy calls in a timely manner
• Assist with front desk or optical duties as training progresses Team & Service Excellence
• Support doctors and colleagues to ensure smooth patient flow
• Respond to work communications and tasks daily
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
• Uphold clinic protocols, HIPAA standards, and patient confidentiality
