Moonshot Farm, LLC, a NJ cut flower farm, is seeking a farmers market lead for our 2026 Fall season at the weekly Saturday West Windsor Farmers Market. Must be comfortable driving a 20' van. Start date would be late September / early October. Every Saturday 9am - 1pm through Thanksgiving, then first and third Saturdays 10am - 1pm in the winter, resuming weekly schedule in May We're looking for someone who can commit to working Saturdays. Pay for role is $22/hour plus 5% comission of sales (works out to an extra $4++ per hour). This is a highly independent role, and the ideal candidate will be able to cultivate direct customer relationships, learn about flowers, and really take ownership of running the market stall.

Duties Include:

Loading 20' cargo van up with flower buckets and supplies at the farm on Saturday mornings and driving it (approx 20 minutes) to the West Windsor Farmers Market Setting up market tents, tables, signage, flower buckets, and display Checking out market customers via Square POS system Consolidating and adjusting display as flowers sell Answering customer questions about flower varieties, flower care, and farm information Wrapping flowers and bouquets for customers Post-market breakdown of tables, tents, and buckets Working outside (under tent) in all weather conditions including heavy rain, summer heat, freezing temps, light snow - and beautiful spring days Return of van and supplies back to farm after the market ends Required hours: Saturdays in East Windsor/West Windsor, NJ 8am-2pm Very occasional weekday training hours to learn about flowers and farm

Ideal Candidate:

Punctual, reliable, and upbeat Fluent in English and able to communicate confidently with customers Experience in retail , with preference for someone who has worked at farmers markets/bakery/restaurant or similar environment previously Able to lift 40+ lbs with long periods of standing, bending, squatting Enjoys being outside in all weather conditions Able commit to working Saturdays for full market season through December 2025 Knowledge of local flowers or excited to learn about them

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is $22/hour plus a 5% comission of sales (generally works out to an additional $25-50+ per day) Free flowers most weeks when we have extras :) In the second year of employment, eligibility for retirement benefits with matching.
