Job Overview Nexgen Motors is growing, and we're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Automotive Photographer to join our team. This position plays an important role in how our vehicles are presented online. You'll be responsible for photographing our inventory, making sure vehicles look their best, and helping us get newly arrived vehicles online quickly and accurately. We're looking for someone who is fast, organized, dependable, and has an eye for detail. Automotive photography experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Duties Capture professional-grade photographs of vehicles in various settings, emphasizing shot composition, lighting, and angles to highlight vehicle features and aesthetics Produce engaging video content, including filming vehicle walkarounds, interior shots, and dynamic footage for promotional use Conduct post-production editing using Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and Adobe Premiere to enhance images and videos with color correction, retouching, and visual effects Manage lighting setups using photography lighting equipment to achieve optimal exposure and mood in each shot Operate commercial drones for aerial videography flight operations when capturing expansive vehicle scenes or unique perspectives Collaborate with the marketing team and clients to understand project goals and ensure visual storytelling aligns with branding strategies Maintain photography gear, ensure proper image processing workflows, and stay updated on the latest industry trends in automotive photography and videography Ensure newly arrived vehicles are photographed and online quickly Capture important vehicle features and equiptment Requirements Strong attention to detail Dependable and punctual Automotive knowledge is helpful but not required Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere; familiarity with Capture One and Final Cut Pro is a plus Knowledge of color management principles and color theory to produce consistent high-quality images across platforms Experience with photography lighting equipment and techniques specific to automotive shoots Ability to operate aerial videography flight equipment safely for commercial drone operations in compliance with regulations Strong understanding of photo editing techniques such as photo manipulation and image processing to enhance final outputs Excellent client communication skills to interpret project needs clearly and deliver results that exceed expectations Knowledge of social media management strategies to optimize content for various digital channels A passion for journalism or storytelling through visuals is advantageous but not required; a keen eye for detail is essential What Makes Someone Successful in This Position You don't have to be a professional photographer.
