We are seeking a Production Manager to lead our US final assembly operations, driving manufacturing excellence to ensure every vehicle delivered embodies our standards of superior quality and reliability.

Head of Manufacturing, Production Manager, or Process Manager (commensurate with candidate's qualifications and experience) Job Description Pre-Assembly Engage qualified third-party firms for due diligence and permit processing; Track progress of pre-lease factory due-diligence, post-lease permits and business license registration; Support third-party consultants in responding to government inquiries; Assist suppliers in equipment installation and commissioning at the US KD plant; Oversee post-launch manufacturing-related production matters. Production Operations Management Responsible for the full-process implementation of KD final assembly, breaking down production plans to each team and process to ensure delivery completion; Coordinate production scheduling and scheduling, coordinate materials, equipment, and personnel resources, resolve various abnormalities during production, and ensure stable production cycles; Control the flow of work-in-progress during production, track the progress of work order execution, and ensure production tasks are completed with quality and quantity; Lead the implementation of KD assembly process standards for assembling components, supervise the execution of standardized operations in each process, and ensure consistency and stability of assembly. On-site workshop management Responsible for implementing 5S/6S management in the production workshop to create a standardized, clean, and orderly production environment; Optimize workshop layout and process flow, reduce material handling and work-in-progress backlog, and improve production site utilization; Supervise the standardized implementation of on-site safety operations, identify and rectify safety hazards on site, and ensure production safety; Manage the designated storage and standardized use of auxiliary materials and tooling fixtures in the workshop, maintaining order in on-site operations; Inventory management Coordinate the entire process of KD loose parts receiving, warehousing, storage, and material dispatch to ensure consistency between material accounts and actual item; Control material loss during production, establish and implement material consumption standards, and reduce unnecessary material waste; Track material inventory turnover, optimize inventory structure, and reduce obsolete materials and inventory backlog; Responsible for the recovery and disposal of production surplus and offcuts, and implement material cost control requirements. Equipment and tooling management Responsible for daily maintenance, servicing, and fault repair management of production equipment, tooling fixtures, and testing equipment; Develop preventive maintenance plans for equipment, improve equipment utilization, and reduce the impact of equipment downtime on production; Lead emergency equipment fault handling, quickly restore production, and minimize downtime losses; Responsible for acceptance, commissioning, and implementation of new equipment and tooling to ensure equipment meets production process requirements. Production quality management Responsible for quality control during production, supervising the implementation of quality inspection standards at each stage, and strictly controlling defective products from entering the lower process; Lead the analysis and rectification of defective issues during production, formulate corrective and preventive measures, and reduce quality rework and scrapping; Coordinate the implementation of rework and repair operations, control rework costs and delivery times, and ensure the quality of finished products leaving the factory; Cooperate with the quality department to complete finished product inspection and factory acceptance work to ensure delivered products meet quality requirements. Production Cost Control Responsible for cost control in manufacturing, breaking down cost targets into each production stage and implementing cost control measures; Control labor costs, material consumption, and manufacturing expenses during production, regularly analyze cost variances and make improvements; Lead cost-reduction and efficiency improvement projects in the production process, optimize production processes and workflows, and lower unit production consumption; Responsible for collecting and reporting data related to production work order cost accounting, ensuring cost data is accurate and complete. Emergency management of abnormal cases Responsible for emergency handling of various abnormal events during production, including material anomalies, equipment failures, quality issues, and safety anomalies; Develop emergency plans for production anomalies, respond quickly and resolve various unexpected issues, minimizing impact on production delivery times; Track the rectification loop of abnormal issues, develop preventive measures, and avoid recurring similar issues; Responsible for recording, analyzing, and reporting production abnormal events, and creating exception handling records.
Qualification Bilingual Proficiency:
Native or professional fluency in Chinese is preferred.
Industry & Technical Expertise:
8+ years of US manufacturing experience with deep knowledge in RV, commercial vehicle, or specialty vehicle assembly. Strong understanding of chassis and body assembly processes, reading AutoCAD/SolidWorks drawings, and interpreting BOMs.
Leadership Experience:
3+ years in a Plant Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Process Manager or Equipment Manager role at a plant of similar scale. Experience managing US local facilities or Knock-Down (KD) assembly operations is preferred.
Operational & Lean Mastery:
Practical IE/Lean experience (5S/6S, TPM, Kaizen) with a proven track record in process optimization, line balancing, takt-time reduction, and cost control.
Compliance & Legal Knowledge:
OSHA safety compliance
Education & Authorization:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Manufacturing, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Legally authorized to work in the United States.
