Transforming Arts & Minds After-School Musical Theatre Program Manager Reports to:
Operations Manager & Leadership Team Work Schedule:
25-30 hrs. per week with an anticipated increase in hours during peak production seasons. Must be flexible with availability Monday-Friday from 9am-6:30pm. After-school student program hours take place from 3:30-6:30pm. About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Program Manager to lead and coordinate innovative theatre programs within an after-school K-12 educational setting. The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing instructional programming across assigned school sites, ensuring high‑quality teaching, strong school partnerships, and successful culminating events. This role blends educational leadership, project management, and production coordination. Ideal candidates thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy supporting teachers, and excel at building relationships with school communities. Key Responsibilities Program & Site Leadership Establish a positive, organized program environment at each school site. Maintain strong relationships with principals, site leads, coordinators, and school staff. Integrate programming into school calendars and support conflict resolution when needed. Teacher Support & Management Observe classrooms to assess teacher effectiveness and student engagement. Provide coaching, supplies, training, and troubleshooting for teaching pairs. Approve teacher pairings and submit biweekly site reports. Curriculum Oversight Collect and review weekly lesson plans. Coordinate with Program Director on materials, communication, and curriculum needs. Define program calendars, expectations, and deadlines. Culmination & Production Management Lead creative and logistical planning for culminating events and rehearsals. Coordinate materials, schedules, technical needs, costumes, props, and sets. Act as a producer for all culmination activities. Recruitment & Enrollment Support recruitment strategies with leadership and teachers. Attend assemblies, organize events, and update promotional materials. Engage new schools and maintain enrollment momentum. Logistics & Administration Track teacher schedules, verify timecards, and manage supply needs. Provide weekly attendance reports and support high‑volume periods. Maintain records and communicate regularly with leadership. Communication Send regular updates to parents regarding schedules, progress, and events. Address conflicts and encourage family engagement. Qualifications Experience in education, youth programming, or arts instruction. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills. Excellent project management, organization, and multitasking abilities. Comfort managing multiple sites and supporting diverse teams. Creative problem‑solver with a proactive mindset. Why Join Us?
