Job Description

Position Overview Gruening Health & Wealth is seeking an experienced Post-Production Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing video editing team. This is more than a video editing role. We're looking for someone who combines strong creative and technical editing skills with leadership, organization, quality control, and team management . Reporting to the Senior Manager of Content & Creative, the Post-Production Manager will oversee editors, manage workloads and deadlines, review content before delivery, train and develop the team, and ensure projects consistently meet brand and quality standards. Our department produces a high volume of short-form content, long-form videos, advertisements, educational content, webinars, social media campaigns, and client projects across multiple brands. Primary ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Management Manage the day-to-day operations of the video editing team. Assign projects, manage workloads, and establish realistic deadlines. Monitor productivity and hold editors accountable for deliverables. Conduct regular team check-ins and identify workflow bottlenecks. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback. Assist with interviewing, testing, onboarding, and developing new editors. Help determine when additional editing capacity is needed. Quality Control & Creative Execution Review video content before final delivery or publishing. Ensure edits consistently meet brand and quality standards. Provide clear, actionable revision feedback. Maintain consistency in pacing, captions, graphics, B-roll, sound, music, color, and overall presentation. Identify technical issues, errors, and inconsistencies before delivery. Ensure editors understand and execute the creative standards of multiple brands. Serve as the primary post-production QC layer before Senior Manager review. Hands-On Editing While primarily assisting and monitoring the workflow from the editing team, the Post-Production Manager must remain a highly capable editor. Personally handle high-priority or complex projects when needed. Support the team during periods of high production volume. Create example edits that establish team standards. Work across short-form, long-form, advertisements, webinars, and social content. The goal is not to spend most of the day completing routine edits, but to make the entire post-production team more effective . Systems, SOPs & Workflow Build and improve repeatable post-production workflows. Maintain editing SOPs, training resources, templates, presets, and project structures. Standardize project handoffs between production, editing, review, and publishing. Maintain organized project files and assets. Track turnaround times and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Develop systems that allow the department to scale while maintaining quality. Collaboration Work closely with your manager , videographers and editors ,

• as well as White Glove Clients to ensure priorities, handoffs, creative standards, and deliverables are aligned.

• What We're Looking For Strong professional video editing experience. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro . Experience with both short-form and long-form content. Experience editing social media content, advertisements, interviews, podcasts, webinars, or similar projects. Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, retention, hooks, captions, B-roll, graphics, music, and sound design. Strong color correction/grading and audio-mixing skills. Exceptional attention to detail, spelling, grammar, and proofreading. Experience reviewing other editors' work and providing constructive feedback. Leadership or team-management experience. Strong organizational and project-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to communicate expectations clearly and professionally. Ability to identify inefficiencies and build systems to solve them. Ability to balance quality, creativity, and production speed . What Success Looks Like Success in this role means the editing department becomes increasingly capable of operating independently and efficiently. Editors understand their responsibilities and expectations. Projects are completed on time and consistently meet quality standards. Revision counts decrease and brand standards are consistently followed. Editors receive regular training and feedback. Problems are identified before they become bottlenecks. Files, assets, and workflows remain organized. High-volume production remains manageable. The Senior Manager of Content & Creative can focus more on strategy, creative direction, production, growth, and high-level QC . Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who can watch an edit and quickly recognize what isn't working, why, and how to fix it . You should be equally comfortable giving an editor direction, managing a production workflow, and opening Premiere Pro to execute an edit yourself . This role is ideal for an experienced editor ready to move beyond managing their own projects and take ownership of an entire post-production operation.

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
