Responsibilities:

Review and process all types of docketing correspondence. Scan hard copy correspondence and download correspondence from various sources. Prepare Correspondence Log daily and assign an International Docketing Agent to each item. Update matters in the docketing system as required. Draft Filing Receipt, Publication and Patent Grant letters as instructed by docketing agents. Enter data into the carpe diem billing system as necessary. Review Quality Control requests. Create Outlook Tasks and assign to International Docketing Agents. Track and provide clerk duty statistics to Supervisor. Assist with Patent document proofing tasks. Provide coverage for the Docketing Department as requested. Conduct and participate in training as necessary. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Previous clerical and data entry experience demanding a high attention to detail. Ability to pay close attention to details, particularly numbers. Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Effective writing skills; excellent proofreading, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A positive attitude is a must. Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate tasks with peers is a must. Must meet minimum testing requirements. Able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.

International Docketing Supervisor Status:

Full-time, Non-Exempt Hours:

Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hybrid options available after probationary period. This position depends on the employee's ability to work closely with attorneys and staff members during regularly scheduled hours. This position requires the ability to work overtime, which often cannot be predicted in advance.
