Part-Time | $24-$28 per hour NOW PR Agency is seeking a sharp, creative, and highly communicative Publicist to join our Los Angeles team. We're looking for someone who understands how to find the story, shape the narrative, and confidently pitch it. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, naturally strong at outreach, media-savvy, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced PR environment. This position requires candidates to reside in Los Angeles. Core Responsibilities

• Writing & Storytelling
• Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, founder stories, talking points, and media kits
• Identify strong editorial angles that make clients relevant and newsworthy
• Adapt messaging for different publications, audiences, and campaigns.
• Media Relations
• Build and maintain relationships with editors, journalists, producers, podcast hosts, and other media contacts
• Conduct consistent media pitching and follow-up
• Identify timely opportunities for client features, interviews, expert commentary, and product coverage
• Digital & Data Proficiency
• Research media opportunities, trends, journalists, creators, and emerging platforms
• Maintain organized media lists, outreach records, campaign tracking, and coverage reports
• Comfortable working across digital platforms and PR research tools
• Crisis Management
• Assist in developing thoughtful, strategic responses to sensitive or time-sensitive situations
• Understand the importance of discretion, accuracy, messaging, and reputation management
• Outreach & Research
• Conduct daily targeted outreach on behalf of clients
• Research publications, podcasts, events, partnerships, and relevant media opportunities
• Stay informed on cultural trends and news cycles to identify opportunities for clients Qualifications
• Must currently reside in Los Angeles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong writing, editing, pitching, and storytelling abilities
• Proficient in Canva and Adobe
• Highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable communicating directly with media, clients, talent, and industry professionals
• Able to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities
• Must be available to work select events, activations, launches, and client engagements in Los Angeles
• Previous PR, communications, media, lifestyle, hospita lity, beauty, wellness, or luxury experience is strongly preferred
