Youth Rehearsal Coordinator Description:

Watertown Children's Theatre at the Mosesian Center for the Arts (MCA) is seeking a youth rehearsal coordinator for our co-production of Nutcracker, Reimagined with Boston Dance Theater (BDT)! Youth rehearsal coordinator will work in collaboration with the production staff and MCA staff. This is a 1099 position stipended at $20/hr.

Qualifications:

This position requires:

Experience and a passion for working with youth
Ability to supervise and coordinate large groups of participants
Ability to collaborate with and work alongside choreographers, directors, and other production staff
Prior experience and a passion for implementing educational theatre programming
Excellentmunication andanizational skills
Availability for all rehearsals, tech rehearsals, performances and production meetings
Experience taking blocking/choreographer notes,pleting rehearsal reports, and keeping rehearsals on schedule
Students, theatre educators, and early career stage managers are encouraged to Auditions (all performers): Monday, September 28, 4-5:30 PM Auditions (featured roles): Monday, September 28, 5:30-7:00 PM Rehearsals (not all performers will be required at all rehearsals): Mondays, 3:45-6:45 pm, October 19-December 7 Wednesdays, 3:45-6:45 pm, November 18-December 9 Saturdays, 10 am
2:30 pm, October 24-November 14 No Rehearsals November 23-29 Tech Rehearsals (mandatory): December 14-17, 3:45-6:45 pm

Performances:

December 18, 7 pm December 19, 2 pm & 7 pm December 20, 2 pm
