Job Summary Responsible for setting up all compound and progressive tooling on the punch presses Duties To maintain the highest quality standards and the right to stop production of any job if those quality standards are not met Willing to assist in any areas within the company on an "as needed" basis Know all aspects of punch press operations Set up and run all punch presses and all ancillary equipment on the presses Performs preventative and reactive maintenance on press equipment Configures proper guarding on all equipment Responsible for validating the first piece for each run Troubleshoot mis-hits and other quality deviations Qualifications Level 1

(Includes all qualifications from previous level) Advanced blueprint comprehension Programs and efficiently operates all equipment, including Spartanic machines Trains others in punch press operations Excellent troubleshooting skills with all machines Can conduct minor repairs or engage outside resources for support Communicates effectively both written and verbally Strong mechanical aptitude Comprehends what inspection tools are required for each job Physical Demands (reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties): Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
