Garnish Music Production & DJ School - Miami Garnish Music Production & DJ School is part of an international network of music production schools, with locations around the world and a focus on professional, hands-on music education. Our Miami location is seeking an experienced Logic Pro Music Production Instructor to join our growing team. We're looking for someone who is not only highly skilled in music production, but also an excellent teacher and communicator who enjoys helping students develop real-world production skills. This position involves primarily in-person instruction at our professional Miami recording studio, with occasional online/remote teaching as needed. Qualifications Advanced proficiency in Logic Pro Minimum 2 years of teaching or instructional experience preferred Strong knowledge of music production, recording, editing, MIDI, synthesis, sound design, arrangement, mixing, and professional production workflows Strong working knowledge of multiple electronic music genres and the ability to teach the production techniques, arrangement, sound selection, and stylistic conventions associated with different genres Professional music industry experience and/or verifiable production, engineering, artist, or release credits strongly preferred Ability to teach from and consistently follow an established syllabus, course map, and curriculum, while bringing real-world experience and creativity into the classroom Ability to clearly explain both technical and creative concepts to students of varying experience levels Reliable, punctual, highly organized, and professional Strong communication and interpersonal skills Team player with a positive, student-focused attitude Must have a flexible schedule and be able to reliably commit to scheduled classes Proficiency in Ableton Live is a major plus Additional experience in audio engineering, mixing/mastering, music theory, songwriting, DJing, vocal production, or other DAWs is also valuable Position This is a very part-time instructor position, ideal for an experienced producer, engineer, artist, or music professional who wants to teach alongside their existing music career. Hours may vary depending on class schedules and enrollment, so schedule flexibility, punctuality, and reliability are extremely important. Candidates should be comfortable teaching both the creative and technical sides of modern music production and helping students progress through a structured curriculum toward producing polished, professional-quality music.
