In this role, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and mixing high-quality audio and video content for a variety of projects, including live events, post-production, and content creation. Your expertise will ensure that every sound and visual element meets professional standards, delivering engaging experiences across multiple platforms. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and collaborate with talented artists, producers, and videographers to bring ideas to life with clarity and vibrancy. Responsibilities Operate and maintain recording studio equipment, including audio mixing consoles, digital audio workstations (DAWs), and sound reinforcement systems. Record live sound during events, performances, or studio sessions, ensuring optimal audio quality. Edit and mix audio tracks using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid to produce polished final products. Troubleshoot technical issues with recording and playback equipment swiftly to minimize downtime. Collaborate with producers and content creators to achieve desired sound design and audio effects for various projects. Manage post-production tasks including sound editing, signal processing, music mixing, and sound reinforcement adjustments. Capture high-quality video footage through videography and filming techniques for promotional videos or event coverage; edit videos for final delivery. Skills Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Avid or similar editing software for video editing and post-production workflows. Extensive experience operating recording studio equipment such as audio interfaces, microphones, headphones, and digital audio workstations (DAWs). Strong knowledge of sound design principles and live sound engineering techniques for events or performances. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to audio systems, signal processing devices, and event AV production equipment. Skilled in managing complex audio systems including audio mixing consoles and sound reinforcement systems during live events. Familiarity with videography, filming techniques, content creation, and video production workflows. Excellent understanding of event audio equipment operation for live event AV production projects. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed sound mixing for music or multimedia projects with precision. Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) tools used to enhance audio quality in various environments. Strong technical proficiency combined with creativity in sound design to elevate multimedia content.
