We're currently looking for a reliable freelance video editor to help us consistently turn training footage into short-form content for Instagram and other social media platforms. We are not looking for overly flashy or heavily produced content.

Our goal is simple:

authentic, clean, professional reels that show the athletes, coaching, training environment, and growth of SPD. As the company grows, we expect our media presence to grow with it. What You'll Do Edit approximately 2-3 short-form reels per week Turn raw practice/training footage provided by SPD into finished social media content Work from basic creative direction while still having freedom with the final edit Add appropriate text, transitions, music, pacing, etc. where they improve the reel Use royalty-free music for content posted to SPD Athletics Deliver most edits within approximately 48 hours Complete up to one reasonable revision per reel when needed SPD will provide the footage and general context for each video. You will not be responsible for filming. What We're Looking For Previous professional editing experience is not necessarily required. We're more interested in someone who: Can create clean and engaging short-form videos Understands Instagram Reels/TikTok-style content Communicates consistently Meets agreed-upon deadlines Is comfortable receiving feedback Has good creative judgment Is interested in sports, athletics, fitness, or youth development Experience editing sports content is a plus. The Style SPD is still a growing company, and we want the content to feel authentic to where we are.

Real athletes. Real coaching. Real training. Clean presentation. We're not looking for excessive effects or complicated edits just for the sake of making something flashy. Compensation Starting compensation is $10 per completed reel , with approximately 2-3 reels available per week. We're open to discussing compensation depending on experience and portfolio. As SPD grows, there may be opportunities for increased volume, compensation, and creative responsibility. We don't want to overpromise what that looks like today—we'd rather let the role grow naturally alongside the company. Selected applicants may be offered a paid test edit using SPD footage before we establish an ongoing working relationship.
