We are looking for someone who understands successful YouTube content at a high level and can help oversee videos from initial concept → pre-production → filming → post-production → final review . Our content primarily consists of high-energy entertainment, challenges, competitions, gymnastics, trampoline/parkour, and other IRL concepts. The goal is to find someone who can become a key part of our production operation and help ensure videos are properly planned, organized, executed, reviewed, and delivered at a high standard.
LOCATION
Our company is based in Columbia, South Carolina . While some responsibilities can be handled remotely, living in Columbia or the surrounding area would be a significant advantage . We are especially interested in candidates who: Currently live in Columbia, SC or within reasonable driving distance Are interested in working in a hybrid/in-person capacity Would be open to relocating to Columbia for the right long-term opportunity A local producer can become significantly more involved with shoots, locations, talent, props, logistics, and the day-to-day production process.
VIDEO DEVELOPMENT & PRE-PRODUCTION
The producer will help turn ideas into organized, executable videos.
Responsibilities may include:
Developing initial video ideas into complete concepts Researching challenges, locations, competitors, talent, products, props, and other elements needed for videos Helping structure videos for strong storytelling, pacing, and viewer retention Creating video outlines and production plans Building shot lists, checklists, schedules, and other pre-production materials Coordinating locations, talent, props, equipment, and logistics Making sure everything required for a shoot is prepared in advance Identifying potential problems before production begins Bringing creative ideas and solutions to improve concepts before filming We want someone who can take a broad concept and help answer: "What needs to happen to turn this into a great YouTube video?"
PRODUCTION & ORGANIZATION
The producer will help keep multiple videos and team members organized throughout the production process.
Responsibilities may include:
Maintaining the pipeline of upcoming videos Tracking each project from concept through completion Organizing production calendars, shoot dates, deadlines, edits, and revisions Coordinating with videographers, editors, talent, and other team members Following up with team members and keeping projects moving Making sure footage and necessary production assets are properly organized Keeping track of outstanding tasks and deliverables Making sure important details do not fall through the cracks Helping solve problems that arise during production
POST-PRODUCTION REVIEW & QUALITY CONTROL
The producer will NOT be responsible for editing videos. Our dedicated editors will continue handling the actual editing. However, a major responsibility of this position will be reviewing videos throughout post-production and managing the revision process. The producer should be able to: Review rough cuts and revisions before final approval Identify slow, unnecessary, repetitive, or confusing sections Evaluate storytelling, pacing, entertainment value, and viewer retention Catch continuity issues, mistakes, missing information, or other problems Provide editors with clear, organized, timestamped revision notes Confirm that requested revisions have been completed correctly Communicate directly with editors throughout the revision process Help determine when a video is ready for final review Maintain a consistently high quality standard across videos The ideal producer should understand YouTube editing extremely well without needing to personally perform the edit.

We are particularly interested in finding someone who can become deeply familiar with our content, production style, team, and workflow and take increasing ownership of the production process over time. Because of this, candidates who are already located near Columbia, South Carolina or who would seriously consider relocating are strongly encouraged to apply.
