Description:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Woven Solutions is seeking a motivated junior digital artist to join our Graphics, Operations, Art, and Tradecraft team, supporting government missions through digital imagery, creative production, and AI-assisted content development. You will combine artistic judgment with emerging tools to create, edit, and refine visual content under the guidance of experienced specialists. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making things, experiments with new techniques, and takes pride in getting the details right. You do not need to arrive as a tradecraft expert. We are looking for creative ability, initiative, sound judgment, and a demonstrated willingness to learn.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Create and refine digital images using generative AI tools and traditional editing software.
  • Retouch photographs, build composites, and correct lighting, perspective, texture, and other visual inconsistencies.
  • Maintain consistent character appearance and visual details across related images.
  • Translate project requirements into visual deliverables, asking questions early when requirements are unclear.
  • Review your work for quality, incorporate feedback, and revise efficiently.
  • Organize source files, document techniques, and maintain orderly project records.
  • Work with experienced artists and mission specialists to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Handle sensitive information responsibly and follow security requirements and approved workflows.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • A portfolio demonstrating visual judgment, attention to detail, and hands-on creative work. Academic, personal, freelance, and professional projects are all welcome.
  • Working familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or comparable image-editing software.
  • Working familiarity with video-editing software
  • An understanding of composition, lighting, color, and perspective.
  • Curiosity about generative AI and a willingness to learn unfamiliar tools.
Initiative:
you seek out useful work, follow through on assignments, and flag problems early.
    Coachability:
you welcome specific feedback and apply it to improve your next iteration.
      Reliability:
you communicate clearly, manage your time, and deliver what you commit to.
      • Discretion and good judgment when working with sensitive materials.
      • This position requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
This is an early-career opportunity. Relevant creative work and demonstrated ability are more important than a specific degree or a lengthy employment history.
      HELPFUL, BUT NOT REQUIRED
      • Experience with AI image generation, prompt iteration, or image-to-image workflows.
      • Photography, photo manipulation, or advanced compositing experience.
      • Familiarity with motion graphics, 3D modeling, or illustration.
      • Experience maintaining visual consistency across a series of assets.
      • Basic scripting or automation skills that improve creative workflows.
      • Prior experience working in a secure or government environment.
      • US Government clearance
      WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
You learn the team's tools and workflows, deliver increasingly polished work, and build trust through consistent follow-through. You can explain your creative choices, recognize when an image needs improvement, and use feedback to become more independent over time.
      MISSION ENVIRONMENT
Specific requirements and working conditions will be discussed during the hiring process. Woven Solutions, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected class.
