Since 2009, we have been providing video production and broadcast services for cities, towns, and government agencies throughout Marin County.
DESCRIPTION
  • Part-time work locally in Marin County providing video services for live-broadcast government meetings.
  • Video production, Mac and Windows computer skills, and Zoom video conferencing experience desired.
  • Great technical experience and exposure to local government.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate in-house video and audio equipment for meetings including video switcher, remote-controlled cameras, and computers for Zoom integration.
  • Monitor video and audio quality and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Record meeting video to portable disk and deliver to CMCM's offices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should have multi-camera video production experience and be comfortable with video switchers, camera controllers, basic audio mixers and computers. Candidates must be proficient with Zoom video conferencing software.
SPECICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have a car and be punctual. Marin County residents preferred. Meetings take place at various locations in Marin County.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time and simultaneously operate video equipment and computers.
  • Available on weekday evenings. Occasional daytime work may be available.
  • Excellent problem solving skills to independently resolve a variety of technical A/V issues.
  • Good self-discipline, ability to be prompt and to work unsupervised
ABOUT CMCM
The Community Media Center of Marin (CMCM) is a non-profit organization providing residents of Marin County with access to communication technologies, media training and the latest digital tools so they can create cable TV and online media. CMCM operates Marin TV, Marin County's own non-commercial community, educational and governmental cable channels. Marin TV is available on Comcast (channels 24, 27, 30) and AT&T U-Verse (channel 99), reaching over 70,000 Marin households.
