We're looking for a talented Videographer & Video Editor who can bring stories to life through compelling visuals and creative editing. Position Summary The Videographer & Video Editor will be responsible for planning, capturing, and editing video content for Light Society and clients. This role requires a creative storyteller with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce polished content from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for social media, website, marketing campaigns, and promotional materials. Capture professional footage during events, interviews, behind-the-scenes sessions, and product shoots. Edit videos using industry-standard software while maintaining Light Society's visual style and brand identity. Create short-form vertical content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms. Produce long-form videos for YouTube, website features, testimonials, and campaigns. Add music, graphics, motion design, subtitles, transitions, and color correction to enhance storytelling. Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts and campaign ideas. Organize, archive, and maintain video assets and project files. Operate and maintain cameras, lighting, audio, and production equipment. Stay current on social media trends, video techniques, and editing styles to keep content fresh and engaging. Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining high production quality. Qualifications Experience in videography and professional video editing. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software. Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or motion graphics is a plus. Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, framing, and audio recording. Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and storytelling techniques. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Creative mindset with strong attention to detail. Portfolio demonstrating videography and editing experience required. Preferred Skills Experience creating content for social media platforms. Drone videography certification (preferred but not required). Photography experience is a plus. Motion graphics and animation experience. Understanding of branding and digital marketing strategies.
