John Sr, former owner, and CEO/President of Masterbuilt, spent his life running the family business with the Ole Man and his siblings. From the age of 15, John II began working his way from the warehouse to departments like customer service, product development and marketing for the company with his dream of working with his dad just like John Sr did with the Ole Man. Their love of food came from cooking in their backyard with the Ole Man and in the kitchen with MeMaw, family and friends, camping trips and testing the latest invention for the family business. Today, they travel the country as masters of everything grilling and smoking sharing some of their favorite recipes, most memorable stories, and life lessons with all of you. From national TV, radio, podcasts, and social media; to NASCAR races, Super Bowl's or charitable events, they love meeting new friends, learning new recipes and sharing their expertise with you. Job Summary
The Full-Time Videographer & Video Editor is responsible for capturing and producing high-quality video content that supports The McLemore Boys brand across all platforms.
This role is approximately: o 60% Video Editing o 40% Video Shooting / Production
This person will edit YouTube episodes, podcast video, social media content, brand partnership deliverables, and tour/event coverage. They will also travel to shoot content at live events including NASCAR races, tour stops, brand activations, podcast recordings, and other McLemore Boys productions.
The ideal candidate is fast, creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about storytelling. They must be comfortable working in both controlled studio environments and fast-moving live event settings. Video Editing (Primary Responsibility — 60%)
Edit YouTube videos, podcast episodes, brand partnership content, and social media videos
Short Films
Edit both long-form (YouTube, podcast) and short-form (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) content
Select best moments, build engaging storylines, and maintain strong pacing
Color correct and color grade footage for professional consistency
Edit multi-camera footage and sync audio
Add graphics, captions, music, sound effects, and branding elements
Export videos in proper formats for various platforms
Maintain organized project files and archive footage properly
Turn around edits efficiently while maintaining high production quality
Video Production / Shooting (Secondary Responsibility — 40%)
Shoot high-quality video at events, podcast recordings, and brand activations
Travel with The McLemore Boys to events, tour stops, and productions
Capture behind-the-scenes moments, storytelling footage, and key brand moments
Short Films
Set up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
Manage Equipment
Operate multiple camera angles when needed
Capture content optimized for YouTube, social media, and brand deliverables
Assist in planning shots and creative execution
Ensure footage is properly backed up and organized after shoots
Content & Creative Responsibilities
Help identify viral moments and compelling story angles
Contribute creative ideas for YouTube, podcast, and social content
Work closely with leadership to execute creative vision
Maintain consistent brand look and feel across all content
Help scale content output and production quality
Travel Requirements
Travel regularly to events including NASCAR races, tour stops, brand activations, and media appearances
Travel may include weekends and occasional extended trips
Must be comfortable working in fast-paced environments

All other duties as assigned. Job Requirements and Qualifications
Required:
2+ years of professional video editing experience
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
Experience editing YouTube and social media content
Experience shooting video with professional cameras
Strong storytelling and pacing instincts
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred:
Experience with multi-camera podcast editing
Experience with YouTube creators, brands, or media production
Experience with color grading
Experience with audio editing
Knowledge of YouTube and social media content trends
Technical Skills:
Adobe Premiere Pro (Required)
Adobe After Effects (Preferred)
Adobe Photoshop (Preferred)
Camera operation (Sony, mirrorless, cinema cameras preferred)
Audio equipment operation
