Videographer Support/Digital Court Reporter

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, professional, and technology-savvy videographer support/digital court reporter to accurately capture and preserve legal proceedings using digital audio recording systems. No prior court reporting experience is required—we provide comprehensive paid training. This position involves local travel to courts, law offices, and other legal proceeding locations. Key Responsibilities Record legal proceedings using digital audio equipment. Monitor recording quality and perform basic troubleshooting. Administer oaths and maintain professionalism during proceedings. Track appearances, exhibits, and proceeding notes. Securely manage recordings and related case documents. Conduct routine equipment checks and maintenance. Coordinate with legal professionals and transcription staff. Maintain strict confidentiality of all case information. Support video team as needed. Assist with administrative and team support tasks as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong computer skills and comfort learning new technology. Excellent listening, communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willingness to obtain Notary Public and CER certifications (company-supported). Ability to pass a national criminal background check. Background in court reporting, legal studies, communications, or A/V technology is a plus, but not required. Training Provided Comprehensive paid training includes: Digital court reporting procedures. Audio recording equipment and software. Legal terminology and courtroom procedures. Case documentation and records management. Professional standards and best practices. Working Conditions Work is performed in courtrooms, hearing rooms, conference rooms, and virtual proceeding environments. Assignments are generally located within a 50-mile radius of our Millbury, Massachusetts office. When not on assignment, team members assist with administrative and operational support in the office. May require extended periods of sitting and focused attention during proceedings. Compensation and Benefits Compensation and benefits are competitive and based on experience and qualifications. Training is provided, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement are available. Travel beyond 20 miles is reimbursed in accordance with company policy.
