Automotive MPI Video Specialist Bommarito Ford is seeking an Automotive MPI Video Specialist to create a consistent, professional, and informative video experience for our service customers. Bommarito Ford is a high-volume dealership , and this is a fast-paced position. Rather than asking technicians to record their own customer videos, we have created a dedicated position responsible for reviewing technician inspection findings and turning them into polished, customer-facing videos. The MPI Video Specialist serves as the communication link between our technicians, service advisors, and customers. You will take the information identified during the technician's inspection and present it in a way that is clear, professional, and easy for the customer to understand. What You'll Do Review vehicle inspection findings completed by our service technicians. Record professional videos explaining the condition of the vehicle and identified maintenance or repair needs. Clearly show relevant components, conditions, and areas of concern on the vehicle. Explain technical information in language that is easy for the average customer to understand. Edit videos as needed and incorporate approved graphics, visual indicators, and labels to make inspection findings easier to understand. Upload and manage completed videos through dealership systems. Ensure videos are associated with the correct vehicle and customer. Coordinate with technicians and service advisors when clarification of an inspection finding is needed. Maintain a consistent level of quality and professionalism while working in a high-volume environment. What We're Looking ForCommunication & Presentation Clear, articulate speaking voice. Comfortable speaking on camera throughout the workday. Able to communicate confidently and professionally. Able to explain technical information in simple, understandable language. Comfortable presenting information repeatedly while maintaining a consistent level of professionalism. Technology & Video Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, cameras, and other digital equipment. Familiarity with basic video editing is preferred. Comfortable managing digital video files and uploading content. Able to learn and operate dealership software and video platforms. Previous video experience is a plus, but strong technology skills and the ability to learn may be sufficient. Automotive Knowledge Automotive service or dealership experience is preferred but not required. Strong interest in learning automotive systems, maintenance, and repair terminology. Ability to understand and accurately communicate technician inspection findings. Mechanical or automotive knowledge is a plus. What Makes This Position Different This is not a traditional technician position and it is not simply a job operating a camera. Our technicians perform the inspection and identify vehicle conditions. You turn those findings into a professional video that the customer can see, understand, and use when making decisions about their vehicle. You will use video, editing, graphics, and communication skills to create a consistent customer experience across a high volume of service visits. Requirements Must be comfortable having your likeness and voice recorded and viewed by customers. Must be comfortable speaking on camera for extended periods throughout the workday. Must be well-spoken, articulate, and professional. Must be comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and computer systems. Must be capable of managing video files and digital uploads. Must be able to learn dealership software and established video procedures. Must have strong attention to detail. Must be able to work effectively in a busy automotive service environment. Must be comfortable learning automotive terminology and vehicle systems. Video equipment is provided by Bommarito Ford. Standardized scripts, guidelines, and training are provided. Physical Requirements This is an active position within a busy automotive service department. The Specialist will spend a significant portion of the workday standing and walking throughout the service department while recording vehicle inspections. Candidates should be comfortable spending approximately 5-8 hours per day on their feet and occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, or reaching while recording vehicles.
