Full Job Description Position Purpose:
Our Written Content Team holds a key position in shaping communication across our TV network, original TV shows, and Charis Bible College. The Content Writer will craft a diverse array of written materials, including compelling emails, engaging web copy, social media content, and innovative lead magnets. This role may also extend to writing scripts, outlines, and other content for television. The ideal candidate will be a creative and adaptable writer, capable of handling a variety of content needs in a dynamic environment.
Essential Duties:
Develop and write content for new written products such as books, booklets, and other products. Tailor content to different audiences while maintaining a consistent and coherent brand voice that reflects the ministry. Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure content aligns with overall campaign goals and strategies. Engage in content brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for new content initiatives. Assist in the planning and execution of written content to ensure timely publication of materials. Edit and proofread own work to ensure high standards of language, style, and accuracy. Assist in the review of content produced by other team members, providing constructive feedback when necessary. Coordinate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to projects and campaigns. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks as needed to meet deadlines and objectives. Other tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent command of the English language with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and error-free content. Ability to write in multiple formats and styles to suit various media and platforms. Innovative and creative thinking to develop content that engages and resonates with diverse audiences. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong project management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Work with excellence and attention to detail with little oversight. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements:
Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must sign the Statement of Faith. A high school diploma or equivalent education is required. A Charis Bible College graduate is preferred. Must be trustworthy to uphold the ministry vision and execute plans as directed. Must pass all required checks.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
