The CE Maintenance Data and Services Engineering (MDSE) team is seeking Maintenance Data Author Intern who will be responsible for the development of engine maintenance data Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICAs) to meet program level requirements for sustainment activities for various engine programs. The candidate will be responsible for executing the development of engine maintenance data in accordance with industry specifications, defining maintenance manual, service bulletin and illustrated parts data requirements as it pertains to authoring an Interactive Electronic Technical Publication (IETP), defining and implementing new processes for the creation of maintenance data, and coordinating maintenance data requirements with customers and suppliers. Develop maintenance data procedures based on various forms of engineering source data Provide ongoing status to program leads on data development timelines Support maintenance data publishing process with involvement in data integrity check reviews and data error corrections, as well as quality review of publication data Support program leads with program specific data requirements to ensure proper support of airframers, airline customers and overhaul shops as it pertains to maintenance data requirements Participate in special projects to improve ICAs based on customer needs What You Will Learn Engineering Interns at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business. Our intern program seeks to help you develop an understanding of the aerospace industry and learn about our company and its operations. Qualifications You Must Have Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related STEM degree program and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship. Must have a minimum of 30 academic credits by the start of the internship Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote. The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
