Direct Hire Responsibilities:

Prepare and file air and ocean customs entries in compliance with 19 CFR and CBP regulations. Audit commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and arrival notices for accuracy and completeness. Classify products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSUS) and calculate applicable duties, taxes, and fees. Manage FDA Prior Notice submissions, monitor CBP/PGA holds and releases, and handle TTB regulatory requirements. Support wine and spirits imports under the Craft Beverage Modernization Act (CBMA), ensuring accurate documentation and tax allocation. Coordinate with importers, air/ocean carriers, and warehouses to ensure smooth clearance and timely cargo delivery; update clients on entry status and compliance matters. Maintain entry files, assist with post-summary corrections (PSC), protests, and support internal audits.

Requirements:

3-5+ years of customs entry writing experience. Background in the beverage, wine, or spirits logistics sector is strongly preferred. Solid working knowledge of CBP, FDA, and TTB import procedures and regulations. Proficiency with

ACE / ABI

systems (Descartes, CargoWise, or similar) and Microsoft Office Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $60,000.00 - $80,000.00
