We're looking for dependable journalists who can report on local government, public safety, courts, education, business and other issues affecting the community. Assignments may include attending public meetings, conducting interviews, reviewing public records and producing accurate stories on deadline.

Please note:

We are currently seeking hard-news reporters only — not lifestyle, arts, entertainment, food or event-preview writers. Professional reporting experience is preferred, but we also welcome applicants who can demonstrate strong reporting, writing and news judgment. Freelance writers are paid per story, with a range of $75 - $150 depending on the topic and story length. Interested?
