We are seeking an experienced Collision Repair Plan Writer to join our award-winning, OEM Certified Collision Center in Mentor, Ohio. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with advanced vehicle technology, and collaborating with technicians, insurers, and customers to ensure every vehicle is repaired safely and correctly. Unlike many collision centers, our repair planning process is built around complete vehicle diagnostics, OEM repair procedures, and transparency throughout the repair process. What You'll Do Perform complete vehicle damage assessments and develop comprehensive repair plans. Collaborate with body technicians, structural technicians, painters, and production staff to ensure repairs are accurately planned from the start. Research and apply OEM repair procedures and position statements. Work with insurance carriers to review repair plans and supplements while advocating for proper, safe repairs. Manage repairs from blueprint through completion, updating repair plans as additional operations are identified. Communicate professionally with customers and insurance representatives throughout the repair process. Maintain accurate documentation using CCC ONE and other repair planning technology. Help deliver an exceptional customer experience through organization, communication, and attention to detail. What We're Looking For Collision estimating or repair planning experience required. Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair methods, and collision repair processes. Experience with CCC ONE (preferred). Ability to read OEM repair procedures and apply them to repair planning. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. I-CAR and/or OEM certification experience is a plus. Why DCR Systems?
