Southwest International Logistics Join a Growing Customs Brokerage Team Southwest International Customs Services is seeking an experienced Customs Entry Writer to join our team in Del Rio, Texas. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience preparing and processing U.S. Customs entries. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Prepare and transmit import entries through ACE. Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with CBP, FDA, USDA, EPA, DOT, and other Participating Government Agency (PGA) requirements, as applicable. Communicate with importers, freight forwarders, carriers, and government agencies. Resolve documentation discrepancies and shipment issues. Monitor shipments to ensure timely Customs clearance. Maintain accurate records and comply with company procedures. Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of Customs Entry Writing experience with a U.S. Customs Broker. Working knowledge of ACE entry processing. Strong understanding of U.S. Customs regulations. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple shipments. Preferred Experience with ABI software (Netchb experience is a plus). Knowledge of FDA, USDA, and other PGA requirements.
