In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate customs documentation to facilitate the smooth clearance of international shipments. Your expertise will ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations, FDA (Food and Drug Administration) standards, and global trade policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient supply chain operations while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and transportation safety. Duties Prepare and review customs entries, ensuring all documentation aligns with international trade regulations and FDA requirements. Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to coordinate clearance processes efficiently. Monitor shipment statuses using global trade management software and update relevant stakeholders regularly. Ensure compliance with customs brokerage management, export management, and import management protocols. Conduct data analysis using Excel and other tools to identify trends, discrepancies, or potential risks in customs processes. Maintain accurate records for regulatory reporting, risk management, and audit purposes. Stay informed about changes in customs regulations, transportation safety regulations, and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) guidelines to ensure ongoing compliance. Requirements Proven experience in customs clearance management or related roles within logistics or supply chain environments. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, export/import procedures, and compliance management. Familiarity with global trade management software and Excel data analysis techniques. Understanding of OSHA standards, transportation safety regulations, and logistics compliance requirements. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex regulatory information clearly. Technical proficiency in customs brokerage management systems and transportation management software. Ability to adapt quickly to evolving regulations such as FDA standards and OFAC guidelines; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
