Duties Develop comprehensive ESOL curriculum tailored to diverse adult learning needs, incorporating various learning styles and instructional methods Deliver engaging online and classroom-based instruction to adults seeking English language proficiency, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all students Design, adapt, and utilize instructional materials that enhance language acquisition and literacy skills across different levels of proficiency Coach fellow educators on effective teaching techniques, classroom management, and the integration of learning technology such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Facilitate inclusive learning environments by accommodating students with special needs, including deaf education, visually impaired education, or other accommodations as required Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that align with adult education standards and incorporate best practices in instructional design Skills Expertise in curriculum development, instructional materials creation, and lesson planning for adult learners Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to foster a positive learning atmosphere Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools for online instruction Experience in teaching ESL to adults from diverse cultural backgrounds with sensitivity to different learning styles and adaptability in instructional approaches Excellent communication and writing skills essential for tutoring, student engagement, and instructional documentation Knowledge of adult education principles, including literacy education, bilingual instruction, special education needs, and working with visually impaired or deaf students Ability to coach teachers effectively on instructional strategies and classroom techniques tailored for adult language education Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise transforms lives!
