We are looking for a former collegiate athlete who still believes adults should train like athletes — regardless of age. Our adult program isn't built around machines, random workouts, or simply trying to burn calories. We use the same principles that build great athletes — strength, power, speed, movement quality, conditioning, and progressive programming — adapted to meet adults where they are today. The right coach has experienced high-level training personally and is passionate about bringing those principles to adults who want to continue performing at a high level. They also need to live by our core values, Train-Teach-Envisioin-Exceede What This Role Looks Like This is a full time coaching role , with approximately 25-30 hours per week on the training floor , plus programming, assessments, meetings, and member communication. The Adult Performance Coordinator will become one of the primary faces of our adult program and will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience from a member's first assessment through their long-term training. Coaching Coach approximately 25-30 adult performance hours per week Deliver high-energy, technically sound coaching Build relationships with every adult member — not just the people in your classes Understand individual goals, limitations, injuries, and training history Help adults train athletically while appropriately modifying for age, ability, injury history, and goals Maintain the culture and coaching standards of The Strength Feed Programming Coordinate and write adult performance programming Stay at least one training cycle ahead Clearly communicate programming goals and intent to the coaching staff Build individualized modifications when needed Maintain custom programs for adults returning from injury or requiring additional training considerations Continue developing the adult program around strength, power, speed, conditioning, mobility, and longevity Assessments & Goal Setting This coach will take the majority of new adult assessment bookings.
They will:
Perform initial adult assessments Explain our training philosophy and determine the best training path for each client Establish baseline testing and measurable goals Track progress throughout the year Conduct quarterly goal-setting meetings Lead quarterly Adult Testing Days Use testing and conversations to make sure members understand their progress Member Accountability & Retention Our adult members should never feel like just another person on the schedule.
The Adult Performance Coordinator will:
Know who's training consistently — and who isn't Review the adult attendance list every Monday Reach out to members who have fallen off their normal routine Perform weekly member check-ins Celebrate PRs, milestones, consistency, and progress Identify adults who may benefit from additional training, PT, or a different membership level Help maintain a strong, consistent adult membership year-round Adult Program Growth This role isn't a traditional salesperson, but great coaching should create growth.
The coordinator will help:
Convert assessments into long-term members Generate referrals through an exceptional member experience Identify reactivation opportunities Encourage reviews and testimonials Identify appropriate membership upgrades Capture client success stories through testing and tracking Work with marketing to showcase adult results and tell those stories Weekly Responsibilities 25-30 hours of adult performance coaching Coordinate adult programming Complete the majority of new adult assessments Review attendance and contact inconsistent members Complete individual member check-ins Participate in weekly staff/programming meetings Meet with leadership regarding the adult program Review injury/modification list Update individualized programming as needed Identify and communicate client wins and success stories Monthly Responsibilities Maintain adult programming at least one cycle ahead Review adult membership, attendance, and retention Ensure no member requiring individualized programming is overlooked Educate staff on the upcoming programming cycle Recognize an Adult Pack Leader Provide adult success stories and results to marketing Review assessment conversion and adult program growth Quarterly Responsibilities Conduct quarterly adult goal-setting meetings Lead quarterly Adult Testing Day Review testing data and member progress Select/coordinate seasonal Adult MVP recognition Participate in community outreach opportunities Identify improvements to the adult training experience
Who We're Looking For Required:
Previous collegiate playing experience Strong background in strength & conditioning Passion for coaching adults Ability to coach 25-30 hours per week Strong communication and relationship-building skills Understanding of athletic strength, speed, power, conditioning, and movement principles Ability to modify athletic training concepts for adults of different ages and abilities Comfortable conducting assessments and discussing goals with prospective members Organized enough to manage programming, member follow-up, and meetings outside of coaching hours We especially want someone who believes: Adults don't need to stop training like athletes just because their playing days are over. They may not be preparing for Saturday anymore, but they still want to be strong, explosive, capable, competitive, and confident in what their body can do. That's the program you'll be responsible for helping us build.
